Ladderax versatile wall unit

British mid-century "Ladderax" shelving system.

Very flexible, teak veneer and steel shelving by Staples & Co., London 1960s.This popular product was designed by Robert Heal (of the Heals store family) in the 1960s and manufactured in England.

 

It has adjustable nylon feet to take into account any uneven flat surface. The set is in  good condition with just a few marks from age and use and has been refurbished by ourselves. All the  ladders have been factory powder coated over an epoxy primer to give a perfect long-lasting finish. This is done where necessary due to corrosion, rust ,paint loss etc. 

 

Please note the back of the ladders require a wall clearance of 17cm at the floor level to clear skirtings, so please check your skirting board heights please.

The bureau unit comes with two anti-tip hooks for the storage unit, that are attached to the ladder for extra stability. There is a key that fits both working locks in the chest of draws and storage unit .

 

Size 201cm height, width 185cm, depth of chest 42cm, depth of ladders 35cm.
